This international race, sponsored by Franck Cammas, world famous skipper with his undisputed awards at the helm of the GROUPAMA boats, has become a major event in the Pacific Area. Australian, New Zealand, Tahitian or even from Réunion, the two previous editions crews have already faced all the winds and competed the Caledonian on their waters around New Caledonia, sweeping the waves of the world’s most beautiful lagoon. In 2012, the show will be magnificent and the crossing hard, it will be a great sport time, but also a real human adventure. Being tactical, resilient and showing solidarity, are the three pillars of the team spirit, keys to success. With CNC’s support, all means are implemented so that the Caledonian population lives this event from departure of Nouméa, the “rocher à la voile”, to the appointment on the podium in Nouméa.
